This course helps opticians in a very busy practice combine exemplary customer service while maximizing the limited time that may be available to work with a patient in a very busy dispensary. We deal with time management issues as well as provide a template to accomplish a thorough and appropriate frame and lens selection creating a happy patient/customer who will provide referrals. (1 General ABO Credit)

 

Dealing with Difficult Patients and Troubleshooting 

Held October 20th from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. CST

This course helps navigate difficult conversations and difficult troubleshooting guides that even the most experienced opticians occasionally need help with. In this course, we cover, how to navigate the know-it-all customers or the customers that don’t understand the benefits as well as address pricing disparities between lens pricing at your office vs. lens pricing at retailers and large discounters. We will also work through troubleshooting complex Rx’s and what needs to be remade and what doesn’t, as well as measurements we should be taking today vs. 5 years ago and why they are different as well as the role they play in prescriptions. This course provides opticians and optical staff with the knowledge, facts, and know-how to sell more multiple pairs.
