Jenny Smith, ABOC
Jenny Smith has an extensive background and passion for training and education. Jenny is ABOC and a COPE-approved speaker with experience speaking at Vision Expo East and West. She is also a certified Ritz Carleton Customer Service Trainer.

Phernell Walker, ABOM
Anyone who meets Phernell Walker knows that optics is his passion. He has become a nationally-recognized speaker because of his unique talent for teaching his students everything they need to know to become a professional optician. Mr. Walker is one of only a few hundred people to earn a Master in Ophthalmic Optics. He is certified by both the American Board of Opticianry and National Contact Lens Examiners. Phernell serves on the American Board of Opticianry Board of Directors.

Registration: 

Registration cost is $49 for Walman customers and $89 for non-Walman customers and includes swag items, breakfast and lunch at Walman University. Register for bonus Friday events at the time of registration. To receive the Walman customer cost, please login to your Walman account upon registration. 

COVID Safety Protocol 

We will be following local and CDC guidelines at the time of the event to ensure all attendees' safety. At this time, there are no restrictions or mandates in place. We will alert you if this changes before the event. 

Hotel Recommendations:

The Embassy Suites where the event is being held is sold out of hotel rooms for our weekend.  We would recommend you get a reservation at the Hyatt Place Old Market which is 1 block from the Embassy Suites or Hilton Garden Inn Old Market which is 3 blocks from the Embassy Suites.
